Four years ago, this bike cost $1950 after tax. There is lots of life left in the battery; the odometer says 450 km, although this is probably incorrect. Recent full service at Hub City Cycles: new brakes, chain, crank sprocket, and drive cassette. It's an 18" frame, which is considered a medium on this bike. It's a bit tall -- you'd want a 30" inseam to be comfortable over the crossbar -- but it is not a long reach forward to the handlebars.
Giant is the world's largest premium bicycle manufacturer for a reason: they have a reputation for excellent reliability and quality. This is a very sleek bike with high capacity lithium ion batteries. it has 7-speed gearing, a proportional pedal torque sensor, and a zippered pannier that matches the battery.
The controller is incredibly easy to use: it measures how hard you pedal and helps proportionately. You can easily maintain 30 km/h on even a bit of an uphill. Built-in speedometer and odometer.
