This is the easiest, most accommodating, best boat I have ever owned. The cockpit a little too wide. My price is firm, but if you are a larger person feeling cramped by a smaller touring boat, perhaps we can find a trade that will work.
The cavernous holds are easy to pack for a week-long tour, and loading and unloading is a breeze through the huge hatches. The one-piece hatchcovers use a rubber gasket instead of neoprene covers, and I have always had the driest holds of any member of my group.
The boat is wide, but has an excellent, fast profile, and a low, flat deck that results in very little sailing or weather-vaning. The rudder is also a novel design -- it is apparently designed as a hydrofoil to provide turning "lift" with a minimum of drag. It retracts up into the hull, and can be left partially out to function as a skeg.
Apparently the product line was absorbed by Lightspeed kayaks a few years ago, so you won't find much information about them on the web... but the amount of thought and careful design that went into this boat is quickly apparent.
I will be sad to see this boat go. And whatever we replace it with, I'm sure my wife will be sad to see our loss in cargo capacity.
